Pearland ISD believes that when we involve the community through programs like Pearland Partners in Education, we increase the opportunity for success in each student. Partnerships enrich and support Pearland ISD student learning and achievement. From contributions that promote educational excellence to in-kind donations given by businesses in the community, partnerships enhance the educational experience and promote success district-wide.

Upcoming Opportunities to Partner

Welcome Week (August)

Pearland ISD new teachers will be invited to Welcome Week (formerly New Teacher Orientation) the first week of August and with this comes the opportunity for community organizations to sponsor meals at $1500. Additionally, we will host a “vendor” fair for an hour in which all new teachers, board, admin (approximately 300 guests) will have the chance to walk to each vendor table and meet/greet our sponsors and district partners! This is a great opportunity to get in front of all new teachers ahead of the school year!

Convocation (August)

Pearland ISD will be welcoming all staff back to school on Tuesday, August 8, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and has an expected audience of 2,300 guests. This is a high-energy event that will set the tone for the beginning of the school year. We are currently in the process of securing sponsors for the event. The financial needs of the event include covering facility rental expenses, securing a motivating guest speaker, distributing gift cards and potentially having giveaway items for guests in attendance. Sponsorship levels vary from $500 to $15,000.

Angel Tree (September-December)

The holiday season is a special and exciting time, however, for some families it can be difficult to provide gifts. Now in its eleventh year, the Pearland ISD Angel Tree Project helps to provide Christmas gifts to our students in need. We understand how difficult this pandemic season has been and are hoping to once again provide even just the tiniest bit of relief to families that otherwise may not be able to celebrate without your support and willingness to give! Last year we matched over 700 students, giving 2,000 gifts and together with Pearland Neighborhood Center provided 155 holiday meals to participating families! If you would like to sponsor a student (or a group of students) at $50 per student, please contact us starting in September!

Big Art Day (March)

Pearland ISD Fine Arts presents Big Art Day, an event for the entire family in celebration of Youth Art Month. Held at Pearland Town Center, the event will include live chalk art by high school students (with Guinness World Records on site), entertainment, student artwork displayed at several stores, theatre performances, art make-and-takes for children of all ages, DJ, face painting, door prizes, food and more!
