Public Information Requests
Before you submit a public information request, please search the Pearland ISD website. The information you are looking for may already be available online.
Under the Public Information Act, your request must be submitted in writing to the Pearland ISD General Counsel's Office. The written request must be delivered in person, sent by U.S. mail or emailed to the Pearland ISD General Counsel's Office.

Please note you must have legal authority to access specific student information. All requestors must have legal authority to access student information. If a requestor does not have legal authority to access the records, the information will not be released in accordance with appliable law.

2026 Designation of Nonbusiness Days for Purposes of the Texas Public Information Act
Pursuant to Texas Government Code § 552.003(1), for purposes of calculating time periods under the Texas Public Information Act, a “business day” means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or an official state holiday, and does not include a day on which the District’s administrative offices are closed or operating with only a skeleton crew.
In addition to Saturdays, Sundays, and official state and national holidays observed by the District during the 2026 calendar year, the District hereby designates the following dates as nonbusiness days for Public Information Act purposes only :
- January 2, 2026
- March 9, 10, and 11, 2026
- November 24 and 25, 2026
- December 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2026
On these dates, the District’s administrative offices are closed or operating with a skeleton crew for purposes of Texas Government Code Chapter 552. Accordingly, these dates are not considered “business days” in calculating deadlines under the Texas Public Information Act.
