About Richard Wagoner

Richard "Dick" Wagoner served on the Pearland ISD Board of Trustees from 1983-95, holding the office of president twice. A strong advocate for community service, Wagoner supported the district’s agricultural program by co-founding the Pearland FFA Booster Club and pushing for the construction of the first agricultural facility behind Pearland High School. The current facility was Wagoner's dream and allows students to learn life lessons, turn textbook material into practical experience and gain the skills needed for future careers in agriculture.
