Instructional Materials and Textbooks
NOTE: If you are a teacher, student, or parent needing help with digital access to district textbooks and instructional materials, please email _cleverhelpdesk@pearlandisd.org.
Pearland ISD's Instructional Materials And Textbooks (IMAT) Team manages the adoption, purchase, inventory, and distribution of the district's instructional materials and textbooks, both print and digital, for student and teacher classroom use. These materials are primarily purchased with the district's Instructional Materials Allotment (IMA) from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). You can read more about TEA's Instructional Materials here.
State adopted instructional materials and textbooks are selected through a process TEA calls a Proclamation. You can read more about Proclamations here. The district is will be undergoing the review and adoption process for Proclamation 2024 during the 2023-2024 school year.
Publishers who are interested in being considered for review under any TEA Proclamation should contact Donna Tate (contact information below) directly and not campuses as Pearland ISD is a closed district.
