Gifted/Talented Professional Learning Plan

In Pearland ISD, we aim to provide quality services for all students by ensuring teachers are highly qualified and highly trained to meet the needs of each of their students. There is specific training required by the district and the state to ensure all personnel involved in the planning, creation, delivery and administration of services to gifted/talented students possess the knowledge required to develop and provide differentiated programs and services. These qualifications are a prerequisite to teaching and supporting gifted/talented children. The G/T training requirements for staff are detailed on the G/T Professional Learning Requirements page.
