Introducing our new Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

At Pearland ISD, we care about your well-being and are committed to fostering a healthy and thriving workplace. That is why we are excited to announce that through our partnership with Securian, we have a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided by TELUS Health.

What is the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, free, and voluntary program that offers a wide range of support services to assist employees and their families effectively manage life’s changes and challenges. The service is available 24/7 and can be accessed by phone or online, in a way that works best for you.  

How Can the EAP Help You?

Whether you are facing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, substance abuse, legal issues, financial difficulties, or any other challenge, the EAP can help you find solutions and resources to help. The EAP offers:

Counseling Services: Up to 3 short-term counseling sessions are available and included in the program at no cost to you - to help you address personal, family, or work-related issues.  

Professional Consultations: Get expert advice, guidance, and resources for legal matters, financial concerns, or family support such as parenting, childcare, and elder care.

Wellbeing Resources: Explore a wealth of resources including articles, podcasts, videos and more – all designed to help you build your mental, physical, financial, and work wellbeing.
