*NEW CARRIER ALERT*
*Effective 9/1/2026 our dental and vision insurance carrier will be changing from Humana to MetLife.
In addition, these plans will be moving from a calendar-year plan (January–December) to a plan-year (September-August) format.
Currently, dental and vision benefits reset on a calendar year basis (January 1–December 31). With this change:
- Dental and vision benefits will now reset based on the plan year, beginning 9/1/2026.
- Items such as annual maximums, deductibles, and benefit limits will reset at the start of the plan year instead of January 1.
- This change helps align dental and vision benefits with our other benefit plans and creates a more consistent benefits experience.
Coverage Continuity
You will continue to have dental and vision coverage; however, plan details such as provider networks, may differ under MetLife after the start of the new plan year. If you have dental appointments scheduled on or after 9/1, we recommend contacting your provider to update them with your new subscriber and insurance information.
We encourage you to review the upcoming materials carefully to understand how these changes may impact you and your dependents.
