Substitute Email/Employee Access
All substitutes will receive an email within several days of hire with instructions on how to set up their district email account. Substitutes must activate their account by resetting their temporary password using the instructions below.
How to Activate Your Account
- From a computer connected to the Pearland ISD network, visit the following link:

2. Enter the following information when prompted:
- Network Username: username
- Employee ID: employeeID
- Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your new password.
Once your password has been successfully reset, you’ll receive a confirmation email at your district email address.
Important Reminders:
- District email setup must be completed on district Network, meaning a device connected through hardwire or on the Wi-Fi.
- This email address should not be used to log in to a district computer while on campus, unless in a long-term assignment.
- Substitutes will continue to log in using the account information provided by the campus, as this is required to access the Raptor Alert System. Substitute district email accounts will not activate Raptor Alert.
Once your district email is activated, you may then set up your Employee Access (formerly Employee Self-Service) account here. If you are not on the Pearland ISD network, you must set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by clicking here or reaching out to the Technology department.
