New Student Transfer Wait List Option – Opens April 1, 2026

Beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Pearland ISD will offer a Student Transfer Wait List option within the Student Transfer System. This option allows parents/guardians to submit their child for consideration for a campus transfer if space becomes available.

Transfer requests will be reviewed on an individual basis and approved depending on enrollment and building capacity at the requested campus. The wait list will be open for requests for any campus and any grade level, including out-of-district Pre-K and Kindergarten.

This opportunity also provides an option for families who may have missed the designated transfer application window.

All families who submit a wait list request will be notified of the decision no later than August 1, 2026.

How do I add my student to the Student Transfer Wait List? 

Create an Online Student Transfer Program Account 
  • In the Student Transfer Program click “Sign In”. On the next page click the Click Here link at “Don’t have an account?”
  • Complete all of the required fields. Read the Account Guidelines on the right side of the page for assistance.

  • Register an email address you will monitor for future notifications.

  • Keep record of your username, password, and the answer to your security question. We will not have record of your password. If you do not know your password, you will need to reset it by clicking “Forgot Password?” and follow the prompts.
  • After creating your account, the program will send a notice to your registered email address to activate your account. If you do not receive prompt notice, log on and check your account for correct spelling of your email address and/or check your spam mailbox.
  • Activate your account.
Adding Your Student to the Wait List

Login to the transfer program and follow these steps to access the Wait List: 

  • Click the PARENT/GUARDIAN tab

  • Select MY LAUNCH PAD
  • Under the Student Transfer Modules, you will find the Wait List button
  • Click the Wait List button and complete the form
