Mrs. Krystle Chapman

Howdy! Welcome to my teacher webpage. I am excited to be teaching Biology and Aquatic Science for the 2020-2021 school year. Hopefully my passion for biology and marine biology will enspire your interest in life sciences. I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston. (WHOOP!) I earned a Master's of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston Clear Lake. This is my 7th year teaching here at Pearland High School and I truly love this campus!!

I love Marine Biolgy! I worked in several research labs throughout college and at the Seafood Safety Lab in Galveston monitoring the bacteria levels in oyster reefs. I enjoy herpetology (study of amphibians and reptiles) as well. I have owned several different species of lizards. I have an awesome classroom pet names Domino. He is a leopard gecko and students enjoy having him in class (he will be staying home this year due to cleaners and hand sanitizers).

My husband and I welcomed our son in May 2019. I love watching him learn new things everyday :) We love being outdoors (being on a lake, going to the beach, floating the river) and enjoy all things car related (going to car shows or on crusies and going to car meets).
