Welcome back to another great school year! My name is Nichole Hawkins and I will be your 12th grade English/ Language Arts instructor. I am looking forward to a year filled with both academic and personal growth to help you prepare for your post-secondary ventures. 

I am an Aggie, graduating from Texas A&M Univeristy with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications and a minor in English. I continued my educational endeavors at the university of Houston, where I received a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I also received a teacher certification in English Language Arts for secondary education. I have been an English Langauge Arts instructor at Pearland High School since 2004. 

My teaching philosophy is hard works bring about success! This expectation is the foundation of this course and will not only prepare students for academics, but life as a whole.
