Mr. David Hiers

Hello Oilers.  I'm David Hiers and I teach AP United States History here at The Pearland High School.  In addition to my classroom activities, I am the Oiler Golf Coach.  I am a native Texan graduating from Dobie High School and the University of Houston.  I am entering my 22nd year in education.  I began teaching and coaching at Eastwood Academy in Houston before moving to Pearland High School in 2005.  

I am married to my better half, Lara and together we have two awesome kids - Megan who is a senior at HBU and Will is a freshman at University of Texas.

    I will host recurring meetings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:00 - 12:00.  The meetings will be the same both days.  Please plan to attend either one...not both.
