I love Pearland High School and have been teaching here since 2008.  I teach five levels of art; art 1, sculpture 2, 3, and 4 and AP Studio 3D.  I truly beleive that anyone can learn to paint and to do art.  My goal is to assist every student to reach as high as they can in the field of art and to enrich their lives!

    Conference Times: 3rd Period. 

    Tutoring Times: Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:40 to 3:30 Room 2120.  I am also available every morning from 6:45 until the bell rings for class to begin.

    Reminders: You do not have to take an art class to join the art club.  There is a behavior expectation for this student-led group.

     

    I Teach Art 1, Sculpture 2, 3, 4, AP Studio Art 3D.  All students are given a sketchbook. All sketchbooks will remain at school.  If you are absent you need to go into canvas and check to see what we did for that day and do the work.  Bring it to school and put it into your sketchbook and turn in assignments onto canvas if they are due.

     

     

    I have a BFA in Painting with a minor in Art History: University of Houston.

  • ART CLUB

     NAHS/ Art Club will be hosted by Alyssa Hartgrove this year.  Anyone is welcome to come to art club.  You must sign in and once you sign out, you can not come and go.  We will be assisting the Knapp center with their community service project and also working on the FREE ART PROJECT  for youth art month in March.  let us know what you would like to do in art club!!!
