Welcome to PAP Algebra 2! My name is Dorothy Long.  I have been married 35 years and we have 2 boys: Christopher 29 and Brandon 20.  I am from Alexandria, Louisiana and moved to Pearland in 2011, so this will be my 12th year at PHS.  I am Oiler Proud! 

Education: In 1990, I received my BS degree in Mathematics Education from Louisiana College. In 2010, I achieved a personal goal of mine, which was to pass my National Board Certification in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Mathematics. I feel that it is important to have goals and work to achieve them.  I love MATH!  I know that's weird, but it's true.  My students think I get too excited about this stuff. 

Teaching philosophy: I'm here to "help students learn"!  I make myself available to my students via tutorials, Canvas and One Note. I am here to help my students prepare for the next step in reaching their goals in life.

After School: 2:40 – 3:10 Monday and Wednesday
