Welcome to Career and Technical Education
I am Vivian L. Thibeaux, a product of the Port Arthur Independent School District. I began my professional career with the Houston Chronicle, selling advertising. After 20 years of service, I made the decision to pursue my passion to teach. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas. I earned Bachelor of Liberal Arts degrees in Business Administration and Theology. I completed my teaching certification in Business Composite through the Region 4 Education Service Center, and was awarded my license to teach through the State Board of Educators for the state of Texas. I am certified to offer Articulated Credit through several colleges and have earned a Masters’ degree in Education-Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University.
I participate in ongoing training and Professional Development offered through Pearland Independent School District, and the state of Texas.
In my spare time I am active in my sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where I give my reasonable service to my community.
"Greater Service, Greater Progress"
It is my belief that: It takes all of us, helping each of us, if any of us are to succeed.
