Meet the Teacher

To access Teams and Canvas, go to the Pearland ISD Student homepage and click on the links shown in the picture below. The Canvas link takes you right to Canvas, but to get to Teams, you must go through Office 365: follow the screenshots below. For both Canvas and Teams your login is your district login.

When you click the Office 365 link, log in and you'll be taken to a page that might look like the one below. To find Teams, click on the array of dots circled in the picture below.

Clicking on the dots opens a list of all the apps available in Office 365. Find the Teams app and click to open.

You will likely be sent to some random Teams page. To find the Teams for your class, click "All Teams".

Once you have a list of all your Teams, click the one that corresponds to your class. In the example below, if you are in 3rd Period Physics, click on that Team.

Once in your class Teams, join the class by clicking on the "Join" button. Once you click "Join" you will have the option of joining with your camera and microphone either on or off. Select camera "on" and microphone "off" or muted.
