I was born in Houston, Texas but raised in Pearland for most of my life. I have been an educator for 18 years and teaching for PISD for 16 years. I am a mother of two sons, a wife, daughter, sister, and a group  fitness instructor. I have a public relations/marketing degree from the University of Houston. My hobbies include running half marathons, reading, teaching a group fitness class and spending lots of my time on Galveston Island. I love my job and, most of all I love the kiddos I teach. I currently have a junior in high school and an 8th grrader so I can totally relate. The struggle is real. :P
