Welcome
I am the 8th grade math and 8th grade Advanced math teacher. 

I would like to welcome you back to the Pearland Junior High South Diamondback family!  I am looking forward to a successful school year spent with you and your student.  Through positive attitude and hard work students will excel in Math this year.  I have high expectations and believe in preparing each student with the knowledge to use math in the real world as well as for future mathematics classes.  This is my 15th year of teaching middle school math.  I have four kids of my own that went through the Pearland school system.  I believe in open two-way communication with students and parents.  So, if there is a question or concern, please feel free to reach out to me.  This website is a phenomenal tool that will allow parents, teachers, and students to work together towards success!   

My tutorials are as follows:  Morning tutoring:  by request through e-hall pass (space permitting)  

After School tutoring from 4:00 – 4:45pm:

Mondays – room 2023 with Mrs. Robeson

Tuesdays – room 2021 with Mrs. Meraz

Wednesdays – room 2019 with Mr. Carlson

Thursdays – by request

Homework will be assigned daily and due the following day.  

Please remember to check Skyward for updates on your child's current grades and assignments.  Students will have some assignments graded through Canvas, but the official grades are always in Skyward.
