Welcome to Dawson! I am so excited to have an opportunity to work with the best students at the best high school every day. My name is Amy Petersen and I have been teaching for 18 years. I graduated from the University of Florida and then traveled the world as a military wife, teacher, and mother. I have lived in Florida, North Carolina, California and even Japan. I have a supportive husband and 3 amazing boys: One at Texas State, one at University of Texas, and one at Dawson High School.  I am excited about getting to know each and everyone of you.  Please contact me and let me know how I can serve you best this year.
