I was born and raised on a small Caribbean island - Dominica. Science has always been my favorite subject and my love for science pushed me to pursue teaching as a career.
I moved to the United States to attend Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where I graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree. I have been teaching for 16 years now and coaching for 10 years. I coach girls volleyball, basketball and tennis. I am also the Science Department chairperson here at West.
My tutoring schedule changes due to my coaching duties.
I currently only have after school tutoring times.
- After school - 3:50pm - 4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Before school - 8:00am - 8:25am on Wednesdays
Since my tutoring schedule is subject to change, it will always be posted on the front board for the week.
Students are encouraged to go to another science teacher if I am unavailable.

Science is an exciting but rigorous subject.
We study a wide range of topics including the scientific method, chemistry, physics, earth/space science, weather and climatic interactions, ecology, genetics and biology. Mastery of these topics will be attained through class discussions, written assignments, hands-on activities, research assignments and laboratory exercises.
This webpage will be used to keep students and parents informed of all major assignments, projects and tests for class. I will also be linking a few interesting science related websites.
