Welcome to Pearland Junior High East Cheerleading
This group is designed to enhance school spirit and to inspire all students to get involved in the camaraderie of cheering on our team to victory.
Our focus is not only to cheer but to lead. The twelve 8th grade girls selected for this squad strive to be role models for their peers, both in school and in the community.
Cheer Season
Football
September - November
Wednesdays at 4:30 ~ 5:30
Basketball
December - February
Wednesdays or Thursdays at 4:30 ~ 6:30
Practices
2 hours per week outside of school hours.
Times determined each year.
Lead Season
Tutoring
Year-Round
Dates and Times determined by individual schedules.
Please contact Mrs. Shippey if you are in need of a peer tutor.
Community Service
Year-Round
Dates and Times vary based on opportunities.
Tryouts
Tryouts are open to all students in 7th grade and will be held in early March. Information will be announced through the daily announcements. If your child is interested in being a part of this dynamic group, please contact Mrs. Parsons for more information.
