Welcome all NJROTC Students

2021-2022 JROTC

  The Dawson NJROTC instructors are highly motivated for another outstanding year.  Your child has chosen the finest program in Pearland ISD and we are dedicated to helping them mature into responsible young citizens committed to achievement. The Navy JROTC program is open to all students and is centered on developing leadership and citizenship within your child. We are not part of the U.S. Military and thus your child incurs no obligation to the military no matter how many years he or she completes in the JROTC program. Cadets will be expected to wear the JROTC school uniform one day each week (Wednesday for the entire day). Cadets will be required to participate in all components of the curriculum including: drill, academics and physical fitness training. Extra curricular teams are voluntary and include: drill team, color guard, orienteering, physical fitness, cyber security, archery, drones and rifle. All students are expected to maintain a positive attitude and be respectful at all times.
