Hello, my name is Ashley Engel and I am the ESL teacher for Carleston, Massey Ranch, and Shadycrest Elementary. This is my 10th year in Pearland and I am so excited to get the opportunity to work with all of my second language learners this year! 

I live here in Pearland with my 110 pound dog named Bear! In my free time I like to read, travel and spend time with my friends and family. I also work with the high school students at my church. Working with students of all ages is my passion! 

I am from New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck 'em!) in 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood education with a certification in ESL. In 2019 I graduated with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University (WHOOP).
