Welcome to Mrs. Walkers’ MARVEL-OUS Community!!!

My name is Tasha Walker and I am excited to be your child's Second Grade Dual Language teacher. This is my 27th year of teaching with 18 years here at Carleston. I truly love what I do. I am a child at heart and especially enjoy teaching all subjects to your child.

A little about my family...  My son, Justin, is a recent graduate of Turner High School.  Our family enjoys spending time together.  You will find us playing games like Life, Monoply and a variety of card games.  We also enjoy going camping in our travel trailer, touring around Houston and the surrounding areas.  We recently visited Playa Del Carmen, where we were able to utilize our scuba diving skills.  We also love all things Disney.

My goal for this school year is to provide a learning environment that is safe, nurturing, and challenging for your child while creating experiences that are developmentally appropriate. I will strive to prepare your child to become independent thinkers and life-long learners.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email.  I will respond as quickly as I can during my conference period, which is 11:50-12:35.
