Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am very excited to start my ninth year at Silverlake Elementary, 14th year in Special Educaiton and 26th year of teaching! I have also taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Behavior Classes.  Life Skills is where my heart is!!!  I attended Soutwest Texas State University, which is now Texas State.  I have lived in the Houston area since 1995 and have been in Pearland for a little over nine years.  I have two active boys named Kyle and Kory.  Kyle is in the 11th grade at Dawson High School and is a fantastic drummer and DJ.  Kory will be in the 9th grade and will also be at Dawson.  He enjoys playing baseball and video games.  As for pets, we have two-a cat named Rocky and a dog named Pepper. This year, our theme is Kindness Matters, and we are going to BE AWESOME!!
