Hi!

I am so excited to start my 15th year teaching in Pearland.  I have taught 2nd, 4th and  this is my 12th year teaching 3rd grade. 

I am from Lexington, Kentucky and went to the University of Kentucky and graduated with an Accounting Degree in 1983.  I was a CFO for 18 years before my husband was transferred to Houston.  I have been married for 31 years to my high school sweetheart.   I have 2 girls, Lauren who graduated from Dawson High School in Pearland  and the University of Kentucky.  She is currently a news reporter in Bowling Green, KY at WBKO.   Tara is a professional ballet dancer dancing for Festival Ballet Providence in Rhode Island.  She also teaches dance.

Our family has two cats and our fur babies are very spoiled.  I love to read, travel and just chill with my friends and family.  Family is very important to me and my students become part of my family.
