This year marks my 29th year of teaching in public education. My years of experience include teaching 8 years in Pre-K, 8 years in Kindergarten and I am currently in my 13th year in First Grade. These years of experience come from several different school districts in Texas. I began my teaching career in Port Arthur I.S.D., and then went to Fort Worth I.S.D. I took a few years off to be a stay at home mom and returned to teaching in Martin’s Mill I.S.D. In 2006, my family moved to Pearland where I began teaching here at Lawhon Elementary. I have enjoyed working here for the last 16 years. I am excited to share this school year with your child!
