Welcome families! This is my ninth year of teaching second grade and I have loved every minute of it. My love and appreciation of education and children has always been a part of me. I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and immediately began working here at Lawhon Elementary. We are a family here at Lawhon and I'm excited that I get to be a part of your family this year!

Aside from being a teacher, I am also a wife and mother. My fabulous 14-year-old daughter is a 9th grader this year and will also begin her fourth year of playing club volleyball. I am an avid reader and when I can't find the time, I enjoy listening to audiobooks as well. My family enjoys riding bikes, camping, and hiking. I am a resident of the City of Pearland and love being part of this wonderful community.
