Chemistry, B.A. from the University of Houston
I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in chemistry. I received my teaching credentials through the teachHouston program while studying at UH. This program focuses specifically on secondary math and science instruction and encourages graduates through the NSM-UH to become a teacher in their field of study.
My teaching goal for all the science subjects I teach is to provide quality instruction for all types of learners that not only prepares students for college-level science classes, but also for real-world applications of that subject.
2020 - 2021 ACE Science Courses
All instruction, daily assignments, and other coursework for both on-campus and remote students will occur through CANVAS
For your student's current and most accurate course grade, please check SKYWARD. The grades in Canvas reflect everything that has been completed in Canvas for that course; however, some of those participation grades are not included in your student's average in Skyward.
Once you have been added, and you accept the invitation to join, you can access your classroom TEAMs through the following links:
You can access your daily live instruction by joining the proper class period meeting from your course TEAMs.
If you experience any problems with accessing or connecting to TEAMs, please email me.
What Are My Responsibilities as a Remote-Learner?*
- Attend class through TEAMS for daily live instruction, following Pearland ISD remote learner expectations, such as having a proper workspace and a working camera and microphone.
- Complete daily assignments in Canvas. Instruction and other coursework will be assigned through daily modules in Canvas. Both remote learners and on-campus learners are expected to complete these daily tasks. Most of the daily and note-taking assignments are done with the teacher and are expected to be turned in during class, as they are used as a participation check.
(*)responsibilities/expectations are subject to change as new information and situations arise.
If you are experiencing problems logging in to online resources and/or other technology issues, please contact Technical Support at the following email:
