I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in chemistry. I received my teaching credentials through the teachHouston program while studying at UH. This program focuses specifically on secondary math and science instruction and encourages graduates through the NSM-UH to become a teacher in their field of study.
My teaching goal for all the science subjects I teach is to provide quality instruction for all types of learners that not only prepares students for college-level science classes, but also for real-world applications of that subject.

2022 - 2023 Science Courses
Astronomy
Chemistry
IPC
All instruction, daily assignments, and other coursework will occur during class. There will be some extra online practice, reviews, and lab assignments assigned through CANVAS.
For a student's current and most accurate course grade, please check SKYWARD. The grades in Canvas reflect everything that has been completed in Canvas for that course; however, it does not include the majority of the other assignments completed offline.

Classroom and Classwork Expectations
Students are expected to complete all coursework during class time. This includes general daily work (warm-ups, exit tickets, and other checks for understanding), labs/activities, and practice worksheets. I do not assign separate assignments as "homework". I schedule my class time to encourage students to complete all assignments during their time with me so that they can get immediate feedback and redirection in their learning process. Some Canvas assignments will not be graded.
