I am starting my 8th year in education, and my 5th year at Pearland High School. I graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelors degree in History and a minor in Russian Language. I am certified in General Subjects 4-8, Social Studies 8-12 and Art EC-12. I have taught a wide variety of subjects and grade levels. This school year I will be teaching AP World History: Modern and AP European History. These are my two favorite subjects to teach, so I am very excited about this upcoming year. I am also one of the coaches for the Academic Decathlon team.

My husband and I  grew up in the area and are both graduates of PHS, classes of 2009 and 2010. We both attended Texas A&M and then spent a few years moving around with the Army before settling back home. We have a 2 year old son and another on the way (due to arrive in December 2020)! Our house is very full and active with a wild two year old, two cats and a Golden Retriever puppy (one of our Quarantine 2020 additions). We love to travel (when we have the time and ability), trying new foods/restaurants and watching sports. We are huge Aggie and Houston sport teams fans.
