Hi there and welcome to 4th grade! My name is Jennifer Gonzales and I am so excited to be teaching the 4th grade again this year. This will be my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Challenger Elementary and 7th year of teaching. I have taught ELAR for 6 years. I love being a Challenger Eagle!! I graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake with my bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies. I am certified to teach EC - 6th, ESL and GT.
This year I am teaching Language Arts, Reading, and Writing. My partner, JORDAN ANDERSON, teaches Math, Science and Social Studies. If Mrs. Anderson's name sounds familiar, it's because she has taught 3rd grade the past two years at Challenger. I'm soooo excited to have Mrs. Anderson as a partner teacher and I know great things are to come with us as a team :)

A little about me: I am a mom to two very active kiddos, Ava and Kaeden. Ava is starting her Sophmore year at PHS. She made the VARSITY cheer team this year, so we will be spending our Friday nights under the Friday night lights cheering on the Oilers! Kaeden, my son, is a 8th grader at Pearland Junior High East, and boy, does he keep me on my toes! There is never a dull moment in my house with Kaeden. I can always count on him for a good laugh. Pearland is our home and we sure do love this little/big town! When we have free time, we love to travel to the hill country and other states, and hangout at our beachhouse with friends and family. Some of my favorite places to shop are: Target, Kendra Scott, Starbucks, and Amazon.
Parent/teacher communication is important to me, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions/concerns.
As always, thank you for sharing your child with me. I am looking forward to a great year!
