Degrees and Certifications:
This year is going to be out of this world! My name is Mrs. Tilimon and I teach 3rd grade at Challenger Elementary. My amazing partner is Mrs. Davidson. Our classes switch with each other. I teach our group of students math, science, and social studies. Mrs. Davidson teaches reading and language arts. We work collaboratively to ensure we meet the diverse individual needs of our students. Our ultimate goal is to make sure students grow academically and demonstrate characteristics of being a good citizen; including being safe, respectful, and responsible. This is my third year to teach in Pearland ISD and I’m so excited to continue working with the students at Challenger Elementary. I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first I will tell you a little about me.
I was born in Michigan, but I have lived in Texas most of my life. I have been a Pearland resident for a little over three years now. I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. I earned my Master's degree in school counseling from the University of St. Thomas. Recently, I earned my Principal Certification. This is my third year teaching 3rd grade at Challenger Elementary. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade. I also spent two years as a math and science instructional coach in Spring Branch ISD. This will be my 11th year in education.
I look forward to working with you to help your children reach their full potential. We are on an expedition to excellence together. 2019-2020 is going to be a great school year!
