Welcome to Junior High West!

I was born and raised in Northwest Ohio.  Bowling Green State University is where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.  My family and I love the summertime heat, so what better place for me to relocate.  In 2002, I drove with my mom and sister all the way from Ohio to begin my teaching career.  Shortly after getting me settled in, my mom and sister headed back.  Being in a HUGE state and knowing not a soul, I had only my 1^st year of teaching to concentrate on.  Now I have taught in two school districts, three elementary schools, and am now ready to move onto Junior High!

Four short years later, I met my husband.  We got married on a gorgeous island in Florida.  We now have five wonderful children; Jordan, Bryce, Kaden and twin boys, Blake and Brady.  We also have two wonderful labs, Roxie and Chewie.

I spent 15 years of my career teaching for Fort Bend ISD and am happy to have joined the Pearland ISD team in 2017!
