Hi Eagles, My name is Abby Monroe. This will be my 6th year here at Dawson High School.

My background before teaching was in the hospitality industry and commercial real estate. I look forward to sharing that valuable experience with all of my students. I have a passion for food and travel and love visiting new places as often as I can.

My goal every year is to help my students prepare not only for a career but also life! I teach many different courses at Dawson in our CTE department, my classes include our Co-Op class Practicum of Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism, Hotel Management and Travel and Tourism Management and Culinary, All of which have great fields of industry to go into. I also sponsor DECA and National Technical Honor Society. They are both great clubs to be apart of both for college recognition and having fun outside of the classroom.
