Welcome to 4th Grade Two-Way Dual Language!

Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Abigail Alonso. I am very excited to be a part of your child's development! This will be my 6th year teaching 4th Grade! I will be teaching both English and Spanish. Math & Science will be delivered in English and Social Studies in Spanish! My partner, Mrs. Delloma , will be teaching Language Arts. The journey will have its challenges, but I am certain that we will accomplish our goals. I look forward to getting to know you and your child! We are going to have an amazing school year! 

A little about me...

I graduated from UHCL and received my Bachelor in Science and certified in EC-6th with SPED K-12th, and Bilingual K-12. I grew up in Pasadena, Texas where I attended Golden Acres Elementary, Bondy Intermediate, and graduated from Dobie High School. I currently live in Houston, Texas. I enjoy traveling, trying different cuisines, hanging out with friends/family, Peloton and Yoga! Everyone who knows me knows that I am a coffee addict, especially Starbucks :) I enjoy getting my nails done, and candles, and I love my fur baby Oliver. I also love the "healthy side" of life, such as breakfast bars, salads, and fruit! But my weakness is dark chocolate.
