This course covers the basic principles of animation including posing, timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, slow in and out, follow through. Studio practice includes a series of hand‐drawn exercises.
After completing this course, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of animation and animation terminology by animating a simple series of 2D drawings and Character Designing.
This course covers many game design topics including game engine concepts and technologies, structural elements of games, and game design process.VGD I is a project-based course and includes both individual assignments as well as a group project. Learning objectives are focused primarily on creating fully two-dimensional games with real-time game object control. This includes games that meet the criteria of Game Feel, such as CupHead, Castle Crashers, and Limbo.
All Classes have a Course Fee of $30.00, can be paid online through Skyward.
