Mrs. Briggs
Welcome back, Dolphin families!
I am so excited to be back and ready for the 2023-2024 school year!
My number one goal is to keep students safe and healthy so that they can learn better in their school environment. There are a few ways you can assist.
Illnesses: All students must be at least 24-hours (off medication) free of fever, diarrhea (3+ episodes), and vomiting (2+ episodes) to return to school.
COVID-19: Please visit the Pearland ISD website for the most up-to-date information on current policies.
Medications: Please give all medications at home when possible. If your student needs to take a medication during the school day, it must be in the original packaging. It will need to be left in the clinic with the nurse.
For medications that will be given for 10 days or fewer, we will need a note or form with a parent signature. Anything that will be given for longer, even over-the-counter medications, must have a doctor's authorization form as well. These forms are available at the link to the School Health Services page, or I can provide printed copies.
Immunizations: Students in public schools must meet the Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements. We will notify you of any vaccines that are due during the school year or over the summer. Please keep your child's shots up to date and provide us with copies of records/proof of immunization.
Contact Me: Please keep me up to date with any changes to your contact information or your student's health status.
Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns, or if you are looking for resources to help promote your child's health!
