Jeane Cagle

After gradutaing with my undergraduate degree from Marshall University, located in Huntington, WV (We ARE Marshall! -movie) in 1983, I began teaching in 1985 where I accrued 13 years of teaching experience with certification in K-8.  I earned my Masters degree in Special Education- Specific Learning Disabilites. During my time in WV, I taught Resource classes as well as K-6 regular classes.  I actually developed the curriculum for the first all-day Kindergarten in the state and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge while doing so.  After moving to Texas in 1998, I began teaching in Clear Creek ISD. While there I taught 5th grade Math, 6th grade Math, 7th Pre-AP ELA, 7th Texas History Success for Teens & Teen Leadership, as well as a Math Interventionist.

I am very excited to become a part of the TIGER FAMILY and to be working as Alexander Middle School's new Math Interventionist.  While teaching the past 31 years, my everlasting mottos have been, "You gotta BELIEVE!"  I'm known to stress to my students that they should believe in themselves as much as I believe in them and they can do anything they set their mind to.  It's going to be a fabulous year!
