Welcome to 8th grade US History and the 2019-2020 school year! This is my first year at Berry Miller Junior High, and my third year of teaching.
I graduated from Texas Tech University - wreck 'em! - and have participated in graduate courses in History, Women's and Gender Studies, and Africana Studies at Texas A&M University, where I also served as a graduate teaching assistant and disability services assistive technology and proctoring assistant. Before teaching, I experienced a wide array of opportunities making history come to life, including participating in the excavation of the Binchester Roman Fort archaeological site Vinovia in northern England and serving as a paleontological lab volunteer at the Museum of Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
I am excited to have you in my class and hope that you are looking forward to our journey through the history of the United States this year!
