Hello and welcome to my webpage!!!  My name is Coach Alvarez and I teach U.S. History and coach basketball/track.   This is my fifteenth year in education and my 4th year working for Pearland High school.  After serving in the Marine Corps, I decided to pursue a degree in Kinesiology and Education.  I received my bachelors degree from the University of Houston in 2008 and have been teaching and coaching since then.  I truly enjoy my job and love working with the next generation.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, and bar-b-que:)  I am looking forward to a great year as an Oiler!!!
