Spanish National Honor Society
  • The purpose of the Spanish Honor Society is to promote the study of the Spanish language and to foster an appreciation for the Hispanic culture. We also strive to support the Hispanic community at PHS and beyond.

    Requirements:

    • Students must be 10th, 11th or 12th graders
    • Completed at least 3 semesters of Spanish consecutively (at the secondary level)
    • Maintained an 85 or higher in Spanish
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher 

    Eligible students are nominated by their current Spanish teacher and must currently be enrolled in a Spanish class in order to be nominated. 

    All Spanish Honor Society meetings for the 2022-2023 school year will meet on the following days, after school at 2:45 p.m. in the Bullard Lecture Hall. Attendance for all members is mandatory:

    September 8
    October 13
    November 10
    December 1
    January 12
    February 9
    March 9
    April 13

    If a member needs to discuss meeting attendance, they can either stop by my classroom BEFORE the meeting or email Ms. Solis: solisc@pearlandisd.org

    SNHS Honor Cords: In accordance with the bylaws, members may be eligible to wear a red and gold SHH cord at graduation.
