Hey all! I am Taralee Wightman. I grew up right here in Pearland, but moved to Utah to go to college at Brigham Young University where I completed a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education (K-6th) and a minor in Teaching English Language Learners. I graduated in 2018, and taught for a few years before moving back to Pearland. I have a wonderful husband, beautiful daughter, and the cutest son as well as two cats and a German Shepherd. I am so happy to be here working in PISD! 

I love integrating different forms of art into my teaching, as well as giving students a really hands-on, real life experience in school. I love to travel and have been out of the country a few times, including when I lived in Russia for about a year and a half (yes I do speak Russian). I am always open to hearing about new experiences, cultures, and ideas!
