Hello and welcome!  My name is Michael Ganz and this is my 2nd year at Pearland High School.  I am excited to be part of the Healthcare Science team at PHS.  

Before attending the Teachers College at Western Governors University, I worked in healthcare for 27 years.  During this time I was fortunate to work in many areas, including prehospital care, Emergency Center, administration, EMS education, and healthcare marketing.  My love for teaching led me back to school with hopes of inspiring a passion for healthcare in the next generation.

I have a beautiful, wickedly smart wife and two awesome, mostly grown kids.  I am an avid golfer, sports fan, and have a competetive streak.  Finally, I enjoy traveling and experiencing the history and culture of new places.     

I love that this generation values the importance of volunteerism, and I hope I can help foster the sense of serving others through good deeds!
