Holly Lyons
Welcome to ESL! My name is Ms. Lyons and I am very excited to be your teacher this year. I recently moved back to Texas and I am very excited to be at PHS! This is my tenth year in education and I have previously taught Spanish and ESL in the Austin area, in Las Vegas, overseas in Micronesia, and at a boarding school in Florida. I learned Spanish as a second language from living in Peru for a year and in Mexico for a semester, so I am aware of the challenges of learning a second language.
In my free time, I love to travel and I have visited over 35 countries on six continents (I only have Antarctica left).
I look forward to a great year at Pearland High School!
