Hello and welcome to my 8th Grade Math and Pre-AP Algebra Classrooms. My name is Mr. Carlson and I am in my third year here at Pearland JH South. I am originally from the state of Washington and am a graduate of Washington State University with my BA in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis. I spent time in sales before becoming a teacher. I am a huge fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners as well as my Washington State Cougars. I have been married for five years and have a 3 year old son and a 1.5 year old daughter. I love to spend time with my family and be active as much as possible.

I am excited for this year and can't wait to get started. I know this year will be a challenge but it is one we will conquer together. There will be times of frustration that will lead to times of great excitement after we accomplish our goals. I look forward to seeing all of you and interacting with you this year.
