Mr. Louis Boldrighini
Mr. Boldrighini is a native of Mansfield, Massachusetts and earned his Bachelors of Music Education at the University of Massahcusetts where he studied with Thom Hannum, Peter Tanner, and William Hanley. His teaching career began at North Hampton High School in North Hampton, MA in 1987. In 1988 he moved to Texas to pursue graduate work at Texas Tech University with Alllen Shinn and later at the University of Houston with Marvin Sparks. During his 32 years of teaching in Mr. Boldrighini has had the opportunity to work with numerous successful Texas programs, including Westfield High School, Jersey Village High School, Richland High School, Clear Lake High School, Angleton High School, McCamey High School, Dulles High School, Manvel High School, and Shadow Creek High School.
Before he began his teachiing career, Mr. Boldrighini launched his performing career by joining the Defenders Drum and Bugle Corps from Hanover, MA in 1981. In 1984,85 he joined the Garfield Cadets, from Garfield NJ earning himself two World Champion titles. Mr. Boldrighini has had the fortune of serving on staff for several Drum and Bugle Corps, including the Garfield Cadets (1986, 1987), the Troopers (1988-1990), and the Sky riders (1991). The 1987 Garfield Cadets earned the World Champion title as well as the High Percussion Award.
He is an active musician and performer in the Houston area. He has performed alongside such musicians as Joe Gallardo, Randy Brecker, and Paquito D'Rivera in big band and jazz orchestra settings. He was also a member of the NFL Texan Drumline, and local Houston groups Clouseaux, Shapeshifters, and Tigh'n Up.
Many of his students under his tutelage have earned TMEA All Region Bands, and All State Bands, Jazz Bands, and Orchestras. He also has contributed to Junior High Bands earning TMEA Honor Band Finalist Awards, and Mark of Excellence National Band Awards. Mr. Boldrighini taught the 1996 TMEA CC Junior High Honor Band from North Richland Middle School. He is an active member of TMEA, TBA, and PAS. Mr. Boldrighini is an Educational Endorser of Innovative Percussion. He live in Pearland, TX with his wife Susan, their daugher Kyra and son Dylan, and their beloved dog, Mardy.

Mr. Boldrighini will be teaching Band/Percussion at Sam Jamison Middle School, Rogers Middle School, Pearland South Junior High, Berry Miller Junior High, and Glenda Dawson High School.
