Welcome to second grade! My name is Ms. Villanueva and I am super elated about the new school year. I am originally from Houston and came down to Pearland in 2013 for a calmer, country lifestyle. In 2017, after much hard work and determination, I graduated from the University of Houston with distinguishable honors- Summa Cum Laude, something I am extremely proud of. I do hold a Bachelors in Teaching and Learning. I am also Bilingual and ESL certified. I have taught second grade since the fall of 2017.  Second grade is just amazing! It is the year students are a little more independent and show strides socially and academically. Moreover, I am looking forward to an awesome 2022-2023 school year! May the fun learning begin.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my daughters, Avery-six and Camila-two. They are my pride and joy. We like to visit our ranch in Needville when my husband is in town from work. There, we feed our cows and have cookouts. I also enjoy cooking, catching up on my favorite t.v shows, and snacking! Strawberry-banana tapiocca, beyond my favorite!
