Welcome 8th Grade Wildcatters!!

Hi all! My name is Lisa Shapiro. I am an 8th grade Reading and Writing teacher. This is my second year teaching at Pearland Junior High West, and I am so happy to be a part of the Wildcatter family!! I have 3 children. As a family, we love to go to Comic Cons, cosplay, play games, and GISH! I am a musician, a photographer, and a giant nerd! I am writing a fiction book for middle grade students, and I am an avid reader who especially loves speculative fiction and books with heart. I fall hopelessly in love with fictional characters all the time.

Conference Period: 7th period

Tutorials: Monday AM and PM, Thursday PM

Course Specific Supplies: 3-ring binder and notebook paper or notebook, pencils/pens, 4 colors of highlighters, a book to read everyday
