Hi! My name is Carrie Heard and I'm extremely excited to teach 5th grade ELAR & SS at Sam Jamison Middle School. Go Jags!

I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and came to teaching with having over 10 years experience in Telecommunication Management. It is there I gained my passion for coaching and developing people. After moving to Texas, I enrolled in an Alternative Certification Program, Texas Teachers of Tomorrow, where I successfully completed the program and gained certification to teach Early Childhood through Sixth Grade. 

We will have an amazing school year, and I am looking forward to working with my parents and students.

Monday-Friday 1:55p-2:40p

Tutoring Schedule:

Every Thursday, before and after school. Please schedule after school turtoring with me at least 24 hours in advance.
