In our classroom, every day is an adventure, and an opportunity to start fresh. We are a community of learners who encourage each other in a respectful and positive way. Our classroom is truly a team in which every student feels valued and loved.  

A little about me……This is my second year at Cockrell Elementary, and my second year as a classroom teacher. My husband and I moved to Texas from Oklahoma three years ago. All of our family, including our son, daughter-in-law, and three grandbabies, ages one, two, and four years, along with our siblings and parents, live in Oklahoma. As with many families, we are adjusting to living away from family, and are finding ways to keep connected. My favorite part of living in south Texas is being close to the beach. I also love exploring new things in the Houston area.
